Columbia Community Care Partnership Builds Life Skills

Columbia Community Care and HCPSS staff sign a new partnership agreement.

The Homewood Center (Homewood) has partnered with Columbia Community Care (CCC) to prepare students for future careers and life. The partnership was formalized with a partnership signing on Tuesday, March 21 at the Homewood Center, Ellicott City, Maryland.

Under the terms of the partnership, CCC will provide a group mentorship program for students focused on life skills, such as self-advocacy and decision making. CCC will also support Homewood’s Beyond the 21 program by recruiting speakers for the Career Speaker Series and local businesses to host student field trips.

The mission of Columbia Community Care is to provide resources, services, and programs to students and families in Howard County, under 4 Pillars: Liberation Education, Health & Healing, Purpose Pathways, and Essential Resources.
